RequirementsTo establish a Cybercrime Investigation Center for the Bangladesh Police through KOICA’s global donation project to Bangladesh. To set up a fully functional mobile forensic laboratory equipped with all mobile forensic tools on feature phones and smartphones.

PurposeTo enhance the capability of cyber crime investigation involved in all kinds of cyber crimes in Bangladesh. To build all physical extraction facilities and set up the entire process for mobile forensics

ResultsMD-Smart, MD-Box, MD-Reader, MD-MR, and MD-Carrier were installed at the mobile forensics lab in 2015. The dedicated mobile forensic investigative team has been trained and has successfully started their new mission of cyber crime investigation.
